This 5th floor oceanfront condo at the Kihei Surfside Resort is located on the sought-after ocean side of the building, and in the coveted "2 stack", which are the closest to the ocean one bedroom condos in all of Kihei or Wailea. It has an expansive ocean view from the kitchen, living room, dining area and lanai. It is one of the larger, 1 bedroom / 1.5 bath units (680 sq ft). The view of the ocean and its abundant wildlife is absolutely spectacular.

The unit was fully renovated in 2021 to a very high standard. The unit has air conditioning in both the living room and bedroom. The condo's décor and soothing color palette are drawn from, and blend into, its natural surroundings to create a peaceful oasis for our guests. The kitchen and vanities and hallway and bedroom are finished in exquisite imported custom French Country cabinetry with quartz countertops. The entry hall, kitchen, living room and bedroom have gorgeous mute-step eucalyptus vinyl plank flooring. The bathrooms are finished in Italian porcelain tile. Original giclée artwork of the Island of Maui is featured throughout the unit. This attention to detail, in addition to its prime oceanfront location in the building, makes this condo truly exceptional.

The attractive island-style kitchen is fully equipped with premium stainless steel appliances, including a refrigerator with ice maker, full-size range, dishwasher, multi-function microwave oven, garbage disposal and a variety of small appliances including coffee maker, four-slice toaster, blender, and hand mixer. There is also a large selection of high quality pots and pans, baking pans, knives, with ample dishes, glasses and cutlery.

The living room has a 65 inch flat-screen smart TV and a Blu-Ray/DVD player, stylish high-end furnishings, a Turkish area rug and a multi-speed marine-grade ceiling fan. All lighting is dimmable.

The oceanfront dining area features a blond rattan table with round glass top, and 4 matching upholstered rattan armchairs.

The private lanai has a glass bistro table with two sling swivel rocker chairs – a perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee or a romantic oceanfront dinner.

The bedroom has a new posturepedic King-sized bed, multi-speed marine-grade ceiling fan, French Country furnishings and appointments with quartz tops, plantation shutters, full-size mirrored closet, reading lamps with convenience outlets, and digital security safe.

The master bathroom has a soaker bathtub with shower / hand shower and soft-close glass doors, a lovely French Country vanity with quartz countertop and premium fixtures. The matching half bath has been finished to the same exacting standards. Both bathrooms have American Standard one-piece ‘select flush’ toilets, Panasonic ‘whisper-quiet’ exhaust fans, and dimmable lighting.

This condo is fully equipped with fresh linens and towels, hair dryer, iron/ironing board. All units have beach towels and a cooler. Umbrellas and snorkel gear are NOT supplied, but are often left behind in the units by other guests – no guarantees. The Kihei Surfside office loans out beach chairs free of charge during regular business hours - Monday to Saturday. Office is closed Sundays and Holidays. Coin laundry facilities are available on site.

The unit has free, wireless high speed internet and free long distance calling to the United States and Canada. It is also equipped with a state of the art Oracode door lock, whereby each guest is issued a unique code which controls the door only during their stay. No keys!

This is a great choice for guests looking for the best that Maui has to offer; an outstanding condo, situated in the best location in the building, which itself is right on the ocean at the border of Kihei and Wailea; the sunniest and driest part of the island. You will sleep to the sound of waves, and awaken to breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean, West Maui Mountains and Kamaole 1, 2 and 3 beaches.

"The Fine Print"

In addition to the above rates, there is a one time reservation fee of $35 and Hawaii state tax of 17.962%. There is a $245 cleaning fee ($255 for reservations with check out dates in 2025) for one bedroom, one and a half bath units. Subject to availability, there is no charge to change dates within 48 hours of making a reservation, but a minimum $35 fee for changes made after 48 hours.

This unit accommodates a maximum of 2 guests. There is not a sofa bed in the living room available for use by guests.
