Unit 505 is a fifth floor condo at the Kihei Surfside Resort is on the sought after ocean side of the elevator. It has a spectacular view from the kitchen, living room, dining area and lanai. It has been consistently upgraded by its long term owners. Overall, the unit is in good condition and is very popular with guests.
The entire unit is tiled. The island style kitchen has light oak cabinets and dark granite counters. This stylish kitchen is well equipped with white appliances - a side by side refrigerator with ice maker and water dispenser, flat top stove with microwave hood fan above, full size dishwasher and garbage disposer.
The living room has a queen size sofa-bed with a matching loveseat and a swivel-rocker bucket chair. There is also a 47", wall mounted flat screen LCD TV, stereo with CD player and multi speed ceiling fan.
The dining area has a round rattan glass table with 4 matching tropical rattan chairs.
The large, private lanai has a bistro table with two padded swivel rocker chairs - a perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee or a romantic oceanfront dinner! Turtles and dolphins can be seen year round, whales in season.
The entry has a large dresser.
The bedroom has a king size bed, multi speed ceiling fan, plantation shutters, digital security safe and Hawaiian style rattan furniture.
The master bathroom has a full size, walk in shower with a small bench and a shower massage head with hand held wand. There is a vanity with Corian countertop. The matching half bath has been similarly decorated.
This condo is fully equipped with fresh linens and towels, hair dryer, iron/ironing board. All units have beach towels and a cooler. Umbrellas and snorkel gear are NOT supplied, but are often left behind in the units by other guests – no guarantees. The Kihei Surfside office loans out beach chairs free of charge during regular business hours - Monday to Saturday. Office is closed Sundays and Holidays. Coin laundry facilities are available on site.
The unit has free, wireless high speed internet and free long distance calling to the United States and Canada. It is also equipped with a state of the art Oracode door lock, whereby each guest is issued a unique code which controls the door only during their stay. No keys!
This unit is an excellent choice for guests who are looking for a spacious, comfortable high end oceanfront condo with a spectacular view.

"The Fine Print"
In addition to the above rates, there is a one time reservation fee of $35 and Hawaii state tax of 17.962%. There is a $245 cleaning fee ($255 for reservations with check out dates in 2025) for one bedroom, one and a half bath units. Subject to availability, there is no charge to change dates within 48 hours of making a reservation, but a minimum $35 fee for changes made after 48 hours.
For one bedroom one and a half bath units, the base rate includes up to 2 guests.
For units that accommodate more than 2 guests (4 guests maximum), additional fees apply for additional guests at the rate of $15 per night for youths (17 and under) and $25 per night for adults (18 and over).
