This sixth (top) floor oceanfront condo at the Kihei Surfside Resort is located on the sought after proximate ocean side of the building, and has a spectacular ocean view from the living room, dining area, lanai and kitchen areas. It is one of the larger one bedroom units with 1.5 bathrooms (680 sq ft). The view of the ocean, its abundant wildlife and contrasting well-maintained green grass lawn area which hosts putting space to relax by the sea, is absolutely breathtaking.
The unit has been tastefully remodeled to a very high standard. The kitchen and vanities are done in rich cherry wood cabinetry (new in late 2015) and gorgeous light brown granite countertops, which is consistent throughout the unit. The entire unit has porcelain flooring. The lighting in the living and dining rooms is controlled by dimmer switches.
The very attractive peninsula style kitchen is fully equipped with clean white appliances, including a refrigerator with ice maker, full size range, dishwasher, multi-function microwave oven, garbage disposer and a variety of small appliances including coffee maker, coffee grinder, toaster oven and blender. There is also a large selection of higher end pots and pans, baking pans, knife set, spice rack and ample matching dishes, glasses and cutlery.
The living room has a queen size pullout sofa-bed and a 48" flat screen LCD color TV and DVD player, and a multi speed ceiling fan. The unit has free, wireless high speed internet and free long distance calling to the United States and Canada. It is also equipped with a state of the art Oracode door lock, whereby each guest is issued a unique code which controls the door only during their stay. No keys!
The oceanfront dining area has a round rattan glass top table with 4 matching tropical chairs.
The large, private lanai has a square bistro table with two bar height chairs - a perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee or a romantic oceanfront dinner!
The bedroom has a high quality pillow top King sized bed, high quality bedding, flat screen TV, multi speed ceiling fan, Hawaiian style rattan furniture, closet, digital security safe and telephone.
The master bathroom has a full size, walk in shower, a beautiful cherry wood vanity with granite countertop. The matching half bath has been finished to the same high standard. Both bathrooms have Kohler toilets.
This condo is fully equipped with fresh linens and towels, hair dryer, iron/ironing board. All units have beach towels and a cooler. Umbrellas and snorkel gear are NOT supplied, but are often left behind in the units by other guests – no guarantees. The Kihei Surfside office loans out beach chairs free of charge during regular business hours - Monday to Saturday. Office is closed Sundays and Holidays. Coin laundry facilities are available on site.
This unit is an excellent choice for guests who are looking for a beautifully remodelled unit in a spectacular location in the building with a breathtaking view of the Pacific Ocean and the West Maui mountains.

"The Fine Print"
In addition to the above rates, there is a one time reservation fee of $35 and Hawaii state tax of 17.962%. There is a $245 cleaning fee ($255 for reservations with check out dates in 2025) for one bedroom, one and a half bath units. Subject to availability, there is no charge to change dates within 48 hours of making a reservation, but a minimum $35 fee for changes made after 48 hours.
For one bedroom one and a half bath units, the base rate includes up to 2 guests.
For units that accommodate more than 2 guests (4 guests maximum), additional fees apply for additional guests at the rate of $15 per night for youths (17 and under) and $25 per night for adults (18 and over).
