This 6th (top) floor oceanfront condo at the Kihei Surfside Resort is located on the sought-after ocean side of the elevator, and has a spectacular ocean view from the kitchen, living room, dining area and lanai. It is one of the larger, 1 bedroom, 1.5 bath units (680 sq ft). The view of the ocean and its abundant wildlife is absolutely spectacular.
PLEASE NOTE: Bookings for 1 or 2 guests only. This unit SLEEPS A MAXIMUM OF TWO PEOPLE and the UNIT DOES NOT have a sofa bed in the living room available for guest use. No pets. Minimum 5 night stay.
The unit has been tastefully remodeled to a high standard. The kitchen and vanities are done in pearl-white cabinetry. The entry hall, kitchen and bathrooms have porcelain tile flooring. The living room and bedroom are carpeted.
The attractive peninsula style kitchen is fully equipped with clean white appliances, including a refrigerator with ice maker, full size range, dishwasher, multi-function microwave oven, garbage disposal and a variety of small appliances including coffee maker, coffee grinder, four slice toaster and blender. There is also a large selection of quality pots and pans, baking pans, knives, with ample dishes, glasses and cutlery.
The living room has a 55 inch flat screen smart TV and DVD player, and a new multi-speed marine-grade ceiling fan. The unit has free, wireless high speed internet and free long distance calling to the United States and Canada. It is also equipped with a state of the art Oracode door lock, whereby each guest is issued a unique code which controls the door only during their stay. No keys!
The oceanfront dining area has a round rattan glass table with 4 matching rattan armchairs.
The private lanai has a glass bistro table with two sling swivel rocker chairs - a perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee or a romantic oceanfront dinner.
The bedroom has a newer King sized bed, multi-speed marine-grade ceiling fan, Hawaiian style rattan furniture, plantation shutters, closet, digital security safe and telephone.
The master bathroom has a full size bathtub with shower, a lovely pearl white vanity with Corian countertop. The matching half bath has been finished to the same high standard. Both bathrooms have Kohler "silent flush" toilets and new Panasonic 'whisper-quiet' exhaust fans.
The unit is fully equipped with utensils, linens, iron/ironing board, hairdryer, beach towels and a cooler. Umbrellas, boogie boards and snorkel gear are NOT supplied, but are often left behind in the units by other guests - no guarantees. Coin laundry facilities are available on site.

"The Fine Print"
In addition to the above rates, there is a one time reservation fee of $35 and Hawaii state tax of 17.42%. There is a $200 cleaning fee ($220 for reservations with check out dates in 2023) for one bedroom, one and a half bath units. Subject to availability, there is no charge to change dates within 48 hours of making a reservation, but a minimum $35 fee for changes made after 48 hours.
This unit accommodates a maximum of 2 guests. There is not a sofa bed in the living room available for use by guests.
